For people we meet at the first time, appearance is  always our first impression, and dressing is to be the second. We can always read others' mind for their expression. At the same time, we send out message from our hand movements unconsciously.

Compaing from apperence, dressing seems much more indirect. We may can guess one's character from one's dressing, but it superficial after all. We can judge a person by his or her dresing totally.

Dressing, in addition to being a reference, but also to be a protect. Protect yourself from being hurt, being cold. Even to be a shelter.

 

對於初次見面的人，容貌總 是我們的第一印象，其次便是穿著打扮。我們總是能從別人的表情裡解讀出他們心中想傳達出的語彙，同時，手部等肢體動作，在我們不知不覺中，也常常傳遞出很多訊息。穿著相對於容貌 顯得相對間接，我們能憑藉一個人的穿著打扮來猜測這個人的性格，但這畢竟膚淺，參雜了太多主觀思維與刻板觀念，無法從一個人的服裝來看透一個人。服裝除了做為了解一個人性格的參考，「保護」也是一項很重要的功能，「保護」自己免於受寒、「保護」自己減輕外力的碰撞──「保護」是一種得到安全感的源頭，讓自己得以隱身其中，甚至偽裝。
